Ten feature length fiction film projects to pitch at this year’s Dot.on.the.Map Meeting Point Co-production Forum

Dot.on.the.Map Ιndustry Days, the co-production, training and networking platform for film industry professionals of the 23rd Cyprus Film Days IF, will hold its 6th edition in Limassol, Cyprus (10 – 12 April, 2025), and announces the selected projects to be pitched in its co-production forum, Dot.on.the.Map Meeting Point. Ten teams of producers – directors with projects originating from countries of the Mediterranean region will pitch their new feature length fiction film projects to representatives of the international film industry. Following group works and individual meetings, the filmmakers will take steps towards forming future artistic and financial collaborations with other filmmakers, international producers, financiers, sales agents, broadcasters, distributors, festival and film fund representatives. Dot.on.the.Map Industry Days provides an excellent opportunity to network with industry professionals from across Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa and to explore co-production and distribution opportunities, discuss new projects in development, and pursue cross-border collaborations. International Jury to Present the Awards

The 23rd Cyprus Film Days International Festival 2025 is excited to welcome a celebrated International Jury composed of five distinguished professionals from different corners of the cinematic world, bringing their experience and varied expertise to the table.  The Jury is chaired by Aleksandra Božović  (Montenegro), acclaimed producer and Director of the Film Centre of Montenegro. Members include Delphine Leccas, independent film curator and art manager known for her boundary-crossing and eclectic projects; award winning Hungarian director and scriptwriter György Pálfi, widely acknowledged for his unique style; French co-founder and Director of Les Arcs Film Festival Guillaume Calop, highly experienced in the organisation of film events; and Agnes Scott, Cypriot actress of global acclaim with a dynamic presence in cinema.   The International Jury will watch and evaluate the seven international and three Cypriot films participating in this year’s Glocal Image...

The Cyprus Film Days for Children and Youth Festival 2025 announces the 2nd National Short Film Competition.

Following the great success of last year’s event, the Short Film Competition, for children and youth, returns this year with the aim of achieving an even greater number of participations and even more creative and high-quality films. The competition is held with the approval of the Ministry of Education and Culture Sports and Youth, as part of the 23rd Cyprus Film Days International Festival 2025, co-organized by the Department of Contemporary Culture of the Deputy Ministry of Culture and the Rialto Theatre. The festival will take place from April 4 to April 13 2025, in Nicosia and Limassol. The Department of Contemporary Culture of the Deputy Ministry of Culture has been monitoring the festival and its various programs since its inception, certifying their high quality and their importance for the perceptual, cognitive, and aesthetic maturation of young audiences.
