Cyprus Film Commission – Invest Cyprus Award

«A deeply personal project seen through the eyes of children, this film delves into one of humanity’s darkest realities: war. With striking honesty and emotional depth, it emphasises the profound absurdity of conflict.» The Cyprus Film Commission - Invest Cyprus Award went to Holiday to be directed by Wissam Charaf and produced by Charlotte Vincent, Katia Khazak, and Anne Reulat (France – Lebanon).

The award is accompanied by the monetary prize of €2,000.

EKKOMED Award

«A powerful social drama that explores both individual and collective resistance, the reconstruction of local communities, and the reweaving of family bonds — all through an innovative and stylistically hybrid approach.» The EKKOMED award went to The Color Green to be directed by Paloma Zapata and produced by Mila Luengo and co-produced by Sinisa Juricic (Spain – Croatia).

The award is accompanied by the monetary prize of €2000, offered by the Hellenic Film and Audiovisual Center.

P.S. Movies and Stories Award

«A powerful and timely project that tackles essential themes of belonging, risk, self-determination, and resilience in the face of social expectations. At its core, it’s a story about sacrifice and the profound challenges of motherhood placed at risk.» The P.S. Movies and Stories Award went to My Name Is Lily to be directed by Yianna Americanou and produced by Stelana Kliris (Cyprus).

Agora Networking Award

«A journey of self-discovery that transforms into a path of self-healing, as a long-buried mystery resurfaces. To move forward and shape a new future, the protagonist must confront and embrace their true identity.» The Agora Networking Award goes to Rasha Hosny for the project I Am Afraid To Meet You Some Day, to be directed by Khaled Mansour (Egypt).

The award is offered by Thessaloniki International Film Festival (30/10–9/11/2025) to the producer of a winning project and it includes 4 nights’ accommodation in Thessaloniki & a free Agora market accreditation.

Special Mention

«For a heartwarming story about intergenerational bonds, reconnecting with one’s roots, and the collective fight to preserve a shared heritage», the Special Mention went to Jo of Montreal, directed by Ameen Nayfeh and produced by Bassam Alasad (Jordan).

 

Coprocity Development Award

Dot.on.the.Map Industry Days continues its partnership with Coprocity – an online platform meant to offer more visibility to curated projects after their presentation in co-production markets by facilitating discussions between professionals and decision-makers, extending contacts, and sharing information to make the project’s development and financing easier. All the projects participating in the Dot.on.the.Map Co-production Forum will be pre-selected to participate in the Coprocity Development Award of €3,500, offered in partnership with Cineuropa.
